Ellie Jane Goulding born 30th December 1986, Hereford England. Tracey Goulding Summers, her mother worked in a supermarket. Arthur Goulding is the father. Goulding's younger sister Isabel and her younger sister Jordan are all sisters. Alex is her brother. Alex, Goulding's brother, is a bass player. Also, he is a Hereford musician. Alex was encouraged by her mother to study music at the age of a small girl. Her first instrument was the clarinet when she turned nine. She started writing songs of her own at the age of 14 but it wasn't until she went off to college that she started to pursue songwriting. Goulding's fascination with electronic music started when she was in the process of completing her college degree. The interest she had in electronic music began while she was a student. Pisces, she was born February 20, 1966 at DeKalb Illinois. Jennifer Sue Crawford and Dan Crawford are the parents of her. Crawford was raised with three siblings and she is of German English and French descent. In her senior year in high school that she started modeling. Crawford was employed at a tiny agency prior to being acquired by Elite Model Management. In 1983, she reached the semi-finals in Elite Model Management's Look of the Year competition. DeKalb graduated from high school in 1984. She received a Northwestern University scholarship and attended Northwestern University for one year prior to quitting in order to be a model. Crawford quit modeling completely in the year 2000 following her appearance on the screen in Fair Game in 1995. Crawford was only featured in fashion magazines after this.
